Welcome to our Church & School website! We are so thankful that you choose to take the time to take a look at these pages. They are our way of trying to give you a view of what we are all about, and where God has brought us from. We are thankful for anyone that the Lord sends to worship with us in our services, and we try to always let anyone know, whether they are a visitor or a regular, that we feel blessed to have them with us.

This year's theme is Cross Training. The cost is $175.00 per camper. It includes: Camp Theme T-Shirt, Camp Picture, Speaker, Transportation, Lodging, Three Meals a Day, Sports, Games, Swimming, Hikes, Ping-Pong, Bible Studies, Song Services, Special Activities, Lots of Fun and 24 hours a day fellowship with old and new friends! (Snack Bar and Crafts will be available at reasonable costs!) Extra money will also be needed for noon meals on Monday and Saturday during travel.
Don't miss out! Come by the church office for a camp form. The last day to turn in your forms and money is Monday July 27th. Invite your friends and their friends to join you! It is exciting to strengthen your friendships with Christ at the center.

Are You Saving Your BOX TOPS for EDUCATION???
The coupons are on over 200 products. For everyone that is turned in, Calvary Baptist Schools receives 10 cents. Over $225.00 was turned in by the close of the 2008-2009 school last year. Will you please check your kitchen cabinets for BOX TOPS that expire on 6-11-09, we need to turn them in by that date to get credit.
You can also turn in any coupons with a date later than the above date, but please do not turn in expired coupons.
If you could cut around the entire BOX TOP it would be very helpful, but if you cannot, we will still be glad to take them. PLEASE turn them in to the church office, school office or place them in the container in the foyer in the sanctuary.
Calvary Baptist School presents a
Fundraiser Event at The Habit Burger Grill
Our church and school are no exception. On Sunday, June 7th, we will be collecting a special "Band-Aid" offering to go towards fixing up and remodeling our buildings. The summer months are the perfect time to do repairs because our students are not on campus. So, please plan on setting aside your offering for this much needed fund. You don't have to wait until June 7th. We gladly accept any amount at any time. Mark your offering "Band-Aid" so it will go toward this fund.

This year we will not be entering the La Verne 4th of July Parade due to the Special Camps, Vacation Bible School, and Mission Trips we are attending in the month of July. HOWEVER we are still having our 4th of July BBQ right after the worship service on Sunday, June 28th. Please plan on coming to celebrate together! Everyone is welcome.
Calvary Baptist is Takin' a Break
VBS has changed to July 6th - 11th. Same great fun and same good time in the Lord! The children will be visiting the adventure theme of cowboys at "Avalanche Ranch" each day. Monday through Friday from 2:00 - 5:00 pm. There will be a special closing ceremony 5:00 - 6:00 pm on Friday evening. Parents are encouraged to attend the closing. Hope to see you all there because it is such a good time in the Lord! Get thos pennies ready for the scale!
Vacation Bible School - July 6 - 11!
Looking for a safe and fun place for your child to spend their summer days? Well Calvary's Summer Day Camp is waiting for you. Camp begins Monday, June 15th. It is available for grades Kindergarten through Fifth graders. The cost is $100 a week with a $100 Registration Fee. The camp will be open 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. Cost includes special Field Trips, crafts, special activities and academic review! Call the School Office to sign up or get more information. 909-593-4672
Summer Day Camp at Calvary!
for being presented with the Teacher of the Year Award from the La Verne Chamber of Commerce at a banquet on Tuesday, May 19th, along with other teachers in the area. We have been blessed to have Mrs. Dial with us as a teacher, coach and elementary advisor. She is also involved with CK's, children's church and chairman of Trustees at our church. We hope the Lord continues to use her at Calvary for many more years!
