Welcome to Calvary Baptist Church!  We are so thankful that you choose to take the time to take a look at these pages. They are our way of trying to give you a view of what we are all about, and where God has brought us from.  We are thankful for anyone that the Lord sends to worship with us in our services, and we try to always let anyone know, whether they are a visitor or a regular, that we feel blessed to have them with us.

FRESH & EASY!

FRESH & EASY Days!  Our church and school are in the Fresh & Easy Program.  We receive $1.00 for every $20.00 spent at any store.  This adds up throughout the year.  Please turn in your receipts to the church or school office any time during business hours.  

SEAC Young Adults

STUDENTS EMBRACING AUTHENTIC CHRISTIANITY (SEAC) is the Young Adult group at Calvary Baptist Church.  Our goal is that college and post-college age adults have a place to discuss faith, religion, and issues that come about in our lives in a welcoming, relational environment. Come and enjoy the support.  They meet each Saturday morning at 10:30 a.m.

SPANISH SPEAKING SERVICES
Calvary Offers Two Services

Each Wednesday evening we are continuing on with the small group Spanish Speaking Bible Study meeting at 7:30 p.m. in the Fireside Room.   They are currently studying the Book of Ephesians.
Sundays at 10:30 a.m. Calvary has a Spanish Speaking Worship Service in the Fireside Room.  Please spread the word to anyone you think might benefit from these ministries or contact the Spanish Ministry Coordinator, Bro. Jess Garrido, at jess@calvarybaptist-laverne.com or call the church office.
                            (An English translator is available at each service, should this be of  benefit.) 

THURSDAY EVENINGS

All are welcome to an open Prayer Time at 6:30 p.m. where requests will be lifted up to the Lord.  Spoken requests, the church, the school, and guidance from the Lord will be the focus.  We know the Lord will bless us as we call upon His name.  Those wishing to stay and go out visiting for the church will meet with a coordinator at
7:00 p.m. for Visitation.

Men's Fellowship!
Second Saturday of Each Month

All men are welcomed to attend the monthly fellowship breakfast and Bible study at 8:00 a.m. on the second Saturday in the Activity Center. You do not have to be a member to attend. There is no cost.

Ladies Bible Study & Fellowship

Ladies Bible Study  (W.M.A.) meets the first and third Mondays of each month, September through June, at 6:30 p.m.  The meetings take place at an off campus location, so please call the church office for directions.  ALL ladies are invited to attend at any time.  You do not have to be a member of Calvary Baptist to attend.
The Bible Study for this year is Psalm 119.

Pastor Linc is conducting a sermon study entitled "Bible 101". Each Sunday morning, during Worship Service, he is taking a Book of the Bible and discussing what was happening in history at the time the book was written, who wrote the book, and what large life lessons can be learned from each book.
